Bel RicordoAbout
Bel ricordo means a lovely keepsake
That's what we make: we turn the photo on your phone into a portrait you'll want on the wall. You choose the style (watercolor, a regal Renaissance-style oil portrait, minimal line art, a cozy Christmas sweater and more), and we make sure it still looks exactly like your pet. We do the same for houses, which make good housewarming and closing gifts.
How we make them
Each portrait is created by our designer using AI tools from your photo, then reviewed and finished by hand.
We check likeness, details and quality before anything reaches you, send you a proof, and change it until you're happy. Two revisions are free. Names and dates are always typeset by us, never drawn by a machine, so they're spelled right.
We're open about the AI part because you should know what you're buying. It lets us send a proof within a day instead of making you wait weeks, and it keeps prices fair. What it doesn't replace is the checking: a person looks at every portrait for the right eye color, the right ear shape and the right markings before it goes to you.
Who prints and ships
Printed items, like ornaments and canvases, are made and shipped by our production partner, Printful. Tracking is added to your Etsy order as soon as your piece ships. Digital portraits are delivered as high-resolution files through Etsy, so nothing ships at all.
Your photos
We use your photo only to make your order. We delete customer photos 60 days after delivery and never use them, or the finished portrait, in marketing without your OK.
